COVID-19 Announcement 16/03/2020

In line with advice given by the Prime Minister this afternoon, all meetings, including small groups, will be postponed until further notice.

We hope to be able to run house groups, FOCUS and Christianity Explored using Zoom online video conferencing software. Click here to download.

As we’re not going to be able to meet for a while, we thought we’ll be sending out these little daily videos to help us think on what we’ve been hearing in the book of Romans.

Obviously not being able to meet together is a shame – it’s a real highlight of the week to be able to meet with church family, and we need to meet as Christians to spur one another on, to encourage one another, to speak the truth in love to one another.

So as we’re not able to do that it’s our hope and prayer that these little videos will help us get into God’s word for ourselves, and remind us of gospel truths that are so precious particularly during a time of uncertainty like this one.

Hopefully they’ll give us things to think about, things to pray about, and things to talk about with one another as well…just not in person!

Keeping in touch

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25

While we are unable to meet together in person, please do keep in touch with one another. We rely on one another to keep going as Christians – each of us needs the church, and is needed by the church!

Do keep in touch with us via email if you need any help or assistance during this time – help with shopping, recycling, bins, whatever it may be! Make use of house group and FOCUS whatsapp groups to encourage one another, pray for one another, and continue to visit one another where appropriate!
